Hole 8 – Toot’s Tipple

Hole 8 from the front tee is a fairly straight-forward in that it is a short par four, yet from the medal tee it is a completely different proposal.

The medal tee is positioned roughly 50 yards behind and to the right of the front tee and is surrounded by mature trees. The tee is faced by a large embankment that must be cleared on your tee shot or be faced with a near impossible approach shot.

The green is situated within a slope with embankments to the rear, front and left. A bunker is situated to the front right of the green that makes the approach shot all the more difficult.

Signatures of this hole:

  • Out of bounds and water hazard on left
  • Mature trees surrounding medal tee
  • Large embankment obstructing the tee shot
